Our mission is to create simple but effective software applications, mainly in technical domains. But the software solution to a problem is only one side of the coin; the other side is the presentation to and interaction with the user:

A major part of our work is focussed on the development of slick and intuitive user interfaces. The feedback from customers is an evidence for their satisfaction and the high quality of our products.

History

syntevo GmbH is a privatly held company which has been founded in 2005 in Bayerisch Gmain, Germany, near to the Austrian border. In 2006 the syntevo GmbH moved its head-quarter to Ainring, just a few kilometers away.

The foundations for the company have been laid earlier: In April 2000 Thomas Singer has started with the development of SmartCVS, because the existing CVS-clients did not suite professional needs. A short time later, Marc Strapetz has joined the SmartCVS development. Based on the file compare components of SmartCVS, SmartSynchronize was born. In mid of 2004 the development of SmartSVN has been started.
