Requirements
SmartSVN requires a Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 1.4.1 or higher to run. Users of Mac OS X, version 10.4 or newer, already have the right JRE installed on their system. Users of Microsoft Windows NT/2000/XP/2003/Vista can choose below to download a bundle with or without contained JRE. If you are using a different platform, you can download platform-specific JRE packages from SUN's website.
If you are upgrading from SmartSVN 2.0.x or an earlier version, we strongly recommend to perform a clean install into a new directory. If anyway necessary to install into the same directory, please remove the obsolete file lib/javasvn.jar after the installation (Windows installer does this automatically). Otherwise SmartSVN will report an error immediately after startup and won't work.
